The baseball cap originated in 1839, when American Doubleday organized the first game that closely resembled the modern game. Baseball caps were first worn by players in order to shield them from the sun during the game. Due to its particularity, the brim of the caps was longer to shield their eyes from the sun and achieve better results. This is the earliest baseball cap.

There are three official baseball caps

The first one is Daddy Hat
